October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and here at Better Buzz we are committed to easing the financial strain for women undergoing treatments, cancer-related procedures, and other medical bills.  

According to BreastCancer.Org, many women diagnosed with breast cancer “used savings, took out loans, or went into debt to pay for medical care. Many women also said that paying their medical bills made it hard for them to pay for other basic needs, such as utility bills…”

This year we’ve teamed up with the Shades of Pink Foundation, a local San Diego based charity that offers financial help to women and their families affected by breast cancer. Shades of Pink is passionate about helping these women now when they need it the most. Learn more about their mission here.

Free Add Shot: From October 1-October 3, we’re offering a free add shot with any $1 donation or more at all Better Buzz locations!

Open Donations: We’re accepting open donations of any value at all Better Buzz locations until October 20^th!

Specialty Mug: You can also show your support by purchasing a limited-edition Breast Cancer Awareness Mug, where 20% of proceeds benefit the Shades of Pink Foundation. Available for purchase at all locations and online!

Your caffeine needs are officially covered La Jolla because Better Buzz Coffee will open its doors for business on Saturday, August 31st! 

Just like our PB Grand location, we will offer our delicious soft-serve ice cream! Available in a cone, cup, or as a cold brew float! Top it off with additional sweet treats if you’re feeling extra fancy. 

We will also serve our new Triple B stacked French Toast which is the perfect brunch dish to share with friends! Made with brioche bread, almond butter, bananas, and bacon; this toast is a delicious combination of sweet and savory. 

Lastly, we’re rolling out a new Grains + Greens bowl which is 100% vegan and tastes absolutely delicious! This bowl combines baby kale, grains, watermelon radish, avocado, cucumber, organic carrots, organic apple, pepitas, hemp seeds, and is and is served with green goddess dressing.

Buzz into fall with our seasonal creations! From pumpkin spice lattes to apple-cider teas, our fun fall drinks will make you want to put on a cozy sweater, read a good book, and watch the leaves change while tanning at the beach.  

Starting August 26^th, all Better Buzz locations will begin serving our delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Spice Chai to kickstart the fall season. And, on August 29^th, we will debut additional fall beverages like our Happy Camper Latte, Snickerdoodle Latte, and Caramel Apple Cider!

Say hello to our newest fall beverage, the Happy Camper Latte. Made with smoked black tea, vanilla, and molasses, the Happy Camper Latte captures the flavors of a cozy campfire with each sip. Oh, and did we mention this drink is also topped with a roasted marshmallow* for extra deliciousness?!

Our Snickerdoodle Latte is a Better Buzz classic and a spin on a yummy sweet treat. Pairing a creamy blend of vanilla, espresso, and spiced brown sugar, this drink tastes just as delicious as grandma’s favorite cookie!

A fall drink launch wouldn’t be complete without an ode to pumpkin and the Pumpkin Spice Latte will definitely continue to reign supreme this season! This iconic creamy beverage has notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, making it the ultimate fall drink.

As the temperatures begin to drop, we also suggest ordering our Pumpkin Spice Chai or Caramel Apple Cider to spice up your day. Both options make for heartwarmingly festive drinks!

Hey La Jolla, we’re headed your way with a mission to become your new favorite go-to coffee shop and café in San Diego! 

We are excited to announce that 909 Prospect St will be home to our tenth Better Buzz Coffee café! This location will join our other beloved beach venues as we continue to spread the buzz throughout San Diego.

Scheduled to debut at the end of August 2019, our La Jolla cafe will greet guests with large sliding doors that set the tone for a comfortable and airy venue for locals and visitors alike. 

With a big emphasis on our spacious outdoor patio, we aim for guests to enjoy views of the picturesque La Jolla Village neighborhood all while sipping on a cup of coffee in a laid-back atmosphere. 

We’ve also incorporated coastal vibes in our interior design, by selecting bold pops of color, soft wooden textures, and geometric tiling that pay homage to the relaxing seaside setting. 

This café will also include a delicious menu of Better Buzz classics, such as our acai bowls and avocado toast, along with a new focus on savory brunch-centric food offerings similar to our Hillcrest location. 

If you’re craving something on the sweeter side, you can turn to our new soft serve, available in two flavors: Vegan Matcha and our famous Best Drink Ever! Available in a cup, cone, or cold brew float!
