As we enter a new year and reflect back on 2020, we are overwhelmed with appreciation. Appreciation for our loyal customers, appreciation for being challenged to our core, and the utmost appreciation for a resilient team who continue to inspire us daily. Even with 12 locations around San Diego County, we are a small team doing our very best to navigate the most fluid year of our lives.

From Escondido, to La Jolla and Hillcrest, we cannot thank each of the communities we serve you in enough. Thank you for continuing to get buzzed with us amid this incredibly demanding year. Thank you for wearing your mask, socially distancing and treating our team with respect, patience and kindness. Without your support, we would not be here, and it means the absolute world to us.

A massive thank you to our baristas, greeters and managers — It goes without saying that the challenges presented this year shook each of us without exception. Staying true to our purpose as a company, our team continued to live the Buzz Life; to give, be and live at 100%, even in the face of adversity. We are truly blown away by their fortitude.

Collectively, between our loyal customers and our incredible team, you’ve helped us remember why we started Better Buzz Coffee 19 years ago with a self-made four wheel coffee cart in a business park; to use coffee as a catalyst to motivate one another, inspire personal growth, and most importantly, to tap into the human potential needed to actively improve our communities — a “Better Buzz” if you will.

Although it still feels like summer outside that won’t stop us from Buzzing into Fall with our delicious seasonal creations.

Starting September 5^th, all Better Buzz locations will offer guests a line-up of autumn-inspired beverages: The Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Chai, and the new Pumpkin Foam Cold Brew.

Our newest fall drink, the Pumpkin Foam Cold Brew brings to life the quintessential flavors of autumn by pairing together our signature Cold Brew and refreshing pumpkin foam topped with cinnamon sugar. This is sure to be a fan favorite for warmer days! 

Capture the true essence of fall in every sip with our signature staple – the Pumpkin Spice Latte! This creamy beverage has notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Prepared hot, iced, or blended.

Reminiscent of crisp mornings and leaves changing, the Pumpkin Spice Chai is another festive beverage to kickstart the fall season. Get it hot, iced, or blended and topped with cinnamon sugar.

The wait is finally over, Miramar! Better Buzz Miramar has officially opened its doors for business.

Our newest location features a cozy café with community and creative seating, drive-thru, a colorful hexagon mural, full-service coffee & espresso bar, and delicious food offerings.

Although we can’t serve our customers face-to-face inside our cafe, we offer drive-thru and online patio pickup options for a safer way to get buzzed! It is our hope that sometime in the near future we can fuel your coffee dates, study sessions, and important business meetings in our picturesque café very soon!

The Miramar menu is stacked with Better Buzz classics like made to order grilled sandwiches, avocado toast, acai bowls, and fresh pastries delivered daily. We also offer handcrafted specialty espresso from our Purist Bar, and fan-favorite coffee drinks like the Iced Horchata Latte, Hazelnut Divinity, and Best Drink Ever.

No location would be complete without our signature phrases and bee-inspired details placed throughout the café. Hand-painted murals by Grand Prestoz such as “It’s Time to Get Buzzed,” “Buzz Life,” “Life’s Better Buzzed,” and colorful hexagons are sprinkled both in and outside the café – providing new IG worthy backdrops for coffee selfies with friends.

In a time where daily life feels uncertain and we're required to keep our distance from others, Better Buzz is thankful for the frontline heroes who are working hard to keep San Diego healthy, safe, and fed!

Thursday, April 30th: SD Food Bank Donations

On Thursday, April 30th, Better Buzz is making a positive impact by supporting the San Diego Food Bank, a local nonprofit that's feeding vulnerable populations affected by COVID-19 and the associated economic impact. Learn more about the San Diego Food Bank here. 

To join our efforts on April 30th, guests can enjoy a free add shot when they donate $1 or more to the San Diego Food Bank. 100% of the contributions goes to the San Diego Food Bank! *This promotion is available at all Better Buzz drive-thru locations April 30th, 2020 only. 

Weekly Coffee Donations 

As an extension of our gratitude, Better Buzz is fueling our local health care workers with weekly drip coffee and vanilla powder donations.
