NEW PROGRAM QUESTIONS
- What if I had a free drink before the new app update?
- All rewards and points will automatically be carried over into the updated app.
- Will I still get a free drink at 100 points?
- Yes, the free regular size drink still exists, but you can decide if you want to use your 100 points to redeem or save the points for another reward in the future.
- What are the new points tiers?
- 25 Points = Drink Modification
- Redeemable on cold cream, milk upgrade, extra shot, add flavor, or any other $1 charge modifications.
- 50 Points = Regular Size Coffee/Tea
- Redeemable on brewed coffee, iced/hot espresso, iced/hot tea (herbal, green, black). Does not include charge modifications.
- 100 Points = Regular Size Drink
- Redeemable on any handcrafted drink. Includes two charge modifications.
- 125 Points = Large Size Drink
- Redeemable on any handcrafted drink. Includes two charge modifications.
- 175 Points = Food Item
- Redeemable on sandwiches, toasts, acai bowls, wraps, pastries, and smoothies. Does not include charge modifications.
- 275 Points = 20 oz Bag of Vanilla Buzz
- Does not include Vanilla Buzz Shots. Not redeemable online.
- 300 Points = Retail Mug
- Maximum value of $18.99. Not redeemable online.
- How do I redeem these rewards?
- Once you earn the number of points needed to unlock the reward you’d like to use, you can activate for in-store purchase by selecting the “Rewards & Offers” button, then selecting the reward you’d like to unlock. If redeeming with a pickup order, you can apply the reward of your choice at checkout.
- Can I redeem two rewards at once if I have enough points?
- You can only redeem one reward per transaction.
- What if I accidentally unlock a reward?
- You can select “Cancel Redemption” in the app.
- Will I still receive a free signup and birthday drink?
- Yes, these will still be gifted and redeemed same as before. No points needed, but a purchase is required before earning the signup reward.
- Will my points expire?
- Yes, after 1-year of no visits.
- Is there a max number of points that can be saved?
- No, you may bank as many points as you’d like before redeeming.
REWARDS QUESTIONS
- I placed an order through the app, why aren’t my points showing?
- It can take up to 24 hours for standard and bonus points to show up in your app. If you’re not seeing an updated balance try closing and reopening your app.
- I forgot my phone. Can I use my phone number to accrue points?
- Yes, just give the barista your phone number and they can look you up and add connect to your account. You can also earn points by scanning the QR code on your receipt in the app under “Earn Points”.
- Can I earn points on an old receipt?
- For security purposes, receipts older than 14 days will not be accepted by the app.
- I received a birthday offer, where did it go?
- Birthday offers expire 7 days after your birthday.
- How will I be notified that I have earned a reward?
- You will receive an email and/or push notification and the reward will show in the “Rewards & Offers” section of your app.
- Do rewards/offers expire?
- Yes, reward expiration date varies. Check in the app for the expiration date for the specific reward.
- Is the only way to sign up for Better Buzz Rewards through the app?
- Currently, yes.
- My receipt was for more than the number of points I received, why?
- Points are not gifted on taxes, gratuity, or gift card purchases.
- Can I earn points from third party delivery companies?
- Points are earned on online/app pick up orders or in-café purchases. You will NOT receive points on Door Dash or other third-party delivery company orders.
- Why is the email address field locked on my profile?
- If you signed up using your Apple ID, the email address may be locked and your email address may display as some random letters and numbers @privaterelay.appleid.com. There is no way to change this, but you will receive emails at the email address that is associated with your Apple ID account.
- How do I transfer my old Black Card to the App?
- You may send your black card number and/or full name to rewards@betterbuzzcoffee.com so we can transfer points to your account.
